I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The rooms were much better than I expected, clean and comfy, although some areas are in need of updating. The location is fantastic, close to attractions and a beautiful garden. The service was top-notch, especially thanks to Andrew, and the dining was good with varied options. Value for money was great overall.
The hotel seemed a bit worn out with cobwebs in the corners, used dental floss on the bathroom floor, and grubby carpets in the corridors, but it did have a convenient location with shops and restaurants nearby. The staff was accommodating, but service was a bit lacking during a busy period.
The hotel offers good value for money, although the rooms are a bit dated and dark. I opted out of breakfast due to the high price, as I didn't need a full English. The property needs renovation, but the service was professional and went the extra mile.
